Dell Inspiron Mini 10 coming this month

Dell Inspiron Mini 10 coming this month

Dell has officially announced its Inspiron Mini 10 netbook, which is set to be available in the UK from 26 February.
The Mini 10, the third model in Dell's netbook line, comes with a 10.1in widescreen display and weighs about 1.3kg. The company has yet to confirm a price for the new model, but this is likely to be somewhere around the £299 mark that the original Inspiron Mini 9 cost when it launched last year.
As with many other netbook models, the new Inspiron is based on Intel's Atom mobile processor and has 1GB of memory, with a choice of 120GB or 160GB hard drive and Windows XP Home edition. For connectivity it has 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, while Bluetooth is optional.
However, Dell said it will make available later this year options such as 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive, built-in mobile broadband, GPS module, digital TV tuner, and Ubuntu Linux 8.04 instead of Windows.
At launch, the Inspiron Mini 10 will be available in a variety of colours including Obsidian Black, Alpine White, Cherry Red, Pretty Pink, Ice Blue and Jade Green.
Dell also includes free access to 2GB of online storage with each Inspiron Mini 10 purchase, which customers can expand up to 100GB for an extra payment.
UPDATE: Dell has now confirmed that the starting price for the Inspiron Mini 10 is £299 including VAT & shipping
